Travel advice
To see our location on the internet, just put our postcode HU12 0NP in a search engine and we will “pop up” in a rural area in north east England 8 km from the coast.
Our nearest bigger city is Kingston upon Hull (normally called just Hull) – with around 250.000 people.
To get to CICD from outside UK, you find international airports with good connections in Manchester, Leeds and London.
From the airport you have bus and train connections to Hull (remember you need to book also these tickets online before you travel!). When you arrive to Hull, we normally pick you up at the station. But you can also take the local bus out here: nr 75 or 77 towards Withernsea.

CICD's Preparatory Weekends
CICD is always open, and it is easy to agree with us when to come and visit to get to know Another Kind of School.
However, our monthly Building & Study weekends are the best weekends to come. During these weekends we have a lot of activities going on and you can be part of everything, talk with everyone and “try out” the programme for yourself!
The programme for your weekend will be half theory and half practice.
You will also meet teachers and students who share their experiences from the projects in Africa and India.
If you would like to get in touch to find out how to get started or sign up for the next Preparatory Weekend - please fill out the short form here below and we will get back to you promptly!
